Year 6 Isle of Wight - Day Two: Let Activities Commence!

With an early start to the first full day in Little Canada, we headed down for breakfast. We enjoyed a meal of bacon, toast, cereal, tomatoes and hash browns. We headed back to our cabins to get ready for the first activity. We gathered by our meeting spot to separate to our different activities like:

The Trapeze - Climbing up a 10 metre pole and jumping off to try and grab the trapeze.
Survival - Learning to survive in the wild.
Logic Ladder - To work as a team to get across platforms with only ONE ladder!
Archery – people trying to be the famous Robin Hood.

Later, after we had completed two out of the four tasks we sat down to have lunch of pasta and soup.

Coming back and having an hour of play time, we set off to do the next couple of tasks.

Dinner this evening was a choice between hot dogs or lamb curry and creamy mushroom Stroganoff with rice.

We are hoping to have a restful night and more adventures in the morning!

As grandparents we are thrilled to see all that the youngsters are doing, it's almost like being there with them! And boy we would love to be young again and have the chance! Thank you for this wonderful facillity
