Woodlands Junior School spent Thursday 28th April celebrating the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The children put their creative skills into action and designed and made a variety of things which included wedding cakes out of junk modelling, wedding dresses out of toilet paper, commemorative plates and class 6U made wedding cakes for the whole school to eat.
Cakes out of boxes and figures made out of plasticine.
At lunchtime, bunting was hung up and tables and benches were set up so the children could eat their lunch outside. Before eating the whole school sung the national anthem together and union flags were waved.
