Another day on the Isle of Wight

The children spent another day at the PGL site doing activities that they didn't do on Tuesday. By the end of the day everyone (including the teachers of course) had had the opportunity to do: aeroball, archery, sensory trail, ladder logic, zip wire, dragons quest, outside climbing and abseiling. One child was very disappointed to discover when she arrived at the abseiling tower that she wasn't going on a boat - another top quote from a WJS pupil! They have put smiles on our faces all week.

Notice the back to front jumpers - the price you pay for breaking the rules on an activity.

Mr Chatley equalled Miss Ridger's archery score and please ask Mrs Usher to give her famous kookaburra impersonation which the children were woken up to this morning at 7.15am - cock-a-doodle do is so last year!

The children are about to be surprised as we are now off to the beach to enjoy a camp fire, marshmallows and some beach games.

The children have thoroughly enjoyed the week and have thrown themselves into their activities with many of them overcoming their fears of heights and the unknown. Well done to all.

Another early start tomorrow as we head off to Robin Hill Country Park. Fingers crossed for the M25 tomorrow!
